Enrolled in two projects of the Conte lab at the Randall Centre for Cell and Molecular Biophysics, under the mentorship of Dr Giancarlo Abis.Project 1: Synthesis of T7 RNA Polymerase and RNA in vitro Transcription - First to set up RNA in vitro transcription at the Randall Centre in over a decade- Successfully transcribed 48nt stem-loop collagen-alpha1 RNA transcripts Project 2: Mutagenesis and Characterizations of N-terminal and C-terminal intrinsically disordered regions for RNA binding in LaRP4B - Investigated the individual contribution of the N-terminal linker region adjacent to La-motif (LaM), and the C-terminal linker region adjacent to the RNA recognition motif (RRM1) of LARP4B in RNA binding, in the La-module and the N-terminal domain constructs using microscale thermophoresis

One of 8 undergraduate students selected to represent KCL in the BIOMOD Competition (2025), an annual academic competition hosted by the Wyss Institute to design novel biomolecular systems with bionanotechnology and synthetic biology.

Project investigated human olfactory neurogenesis and differentiation (neurogenic niches) in Professor He Mu’s Lab at the University of Hong Kong. • Performed single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) analysis for gene set enrichment analysis and single-cell neuron subpopulation annotation in R on human olfactory neuroepithelium niche.• Trained on TrackMate for multidimensional imaging to investigate how phototoxic effects alter the ability of NF-κB essential modulator (NEMO) to assemble into punctate structures in the NF-κB signaling pathway in response to pro-inflammatory cytokines stimulation.

Responsible for organising and liaising campaign proposals for crowdfunding and managing social media accounts to maximise outreach and digital presence.• Successfully aided in the accreditation of TERRA with Non-Profit Foundation (Stichting) status by the Dutch government.• Created informatics and mission-focused blogs on indigenous land preservation and reforestation.
