• Provide research and analytical support for the Annuity Product Teams (Fixed, Variable, and Guaranteed Products) in the development process of new products and strategic business planning• Provide data for quarterly analysis incorporating trends in the industry, product development, competition, market share, and target market• Head projects to develop and/or enhance sales and investment reports pertinent to the company’s annuity business for senior management• Research and provide in-depth analysis on current annuity product lines on sales trends correlating to the overall market conditions and/or other annuity competitors

• Consult advisors on mutual funds and annuities by providing financial solutions based on clients’ needs utilizing asset allocation models, risk/reward levels and customized portfolio construction strategies• Actively partner with Regional Vice President to proactively drive sales, grow market base and retain assets in mutual funds, SMA’s and annuities through the Independent, Wirehouse and Bank Channel• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of competitor mutual funds for ways to incorporate MainStay funds into investment models using Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg and/or Zephyr Style Advisor• Collaborate with portfolio management team of funds to provide advisors with current market outlook via conference calls

• Assisted investment professionals, wholesalers and clients within contact center environment on service issues, policy maintenance, financial transactions and research requests for variable, deferred and immediate annuities• Executed trades, reallocated investment portfolios and set up dollar cost averaging for variable annuity clients• Proactively worked with management to research and resolve escalated service issues
