At William Andrews Architects I was able to do what I find to be the most satisfying work I have thus far been able to do in my life, which is to design homes and estates for successful clients. As a team of talented and highly experienced designers led by Bill Andrews, we design, prepare detailed construction drawings and then represent and assist the Owner through the construction process as their Architect. At William Andrews Architects, we endeavor through an intensive client involved design process, to provide the client with a design that fulfills lifelong dreams and aspirations within the realm of their desired aesthetic sensibilities as well as a design that meets the programmatic needs and lifestyle of the client. It's a process that takes time but in the end, we achieve a very well thought out and fully tempered design in which the client will have complete confidence and satisfaction.The team at William Andrews Architects are all professionally qualified graduates of fully accredited colleges of Architecture who have built their careers specializing in luxury home design and construction detailing, a unique specialization within the profession of Architecture. Subsequently, we have a well versed understanding of quality home construction detailing as well as a highly developed vocabulary of classical and historically accurate architectural forms and motifs which we bring to bear as we design to the client's sensibilities.

While at Horne Properties I served as a Construction Liaison providing oversight and advice to the Development Managers for the architectural, engineering and construction aspects of primarily mercantile developments. My reponsibilities included helping with the hiring and management of design professionals, General Contractors and providing oversight to the design and construction team from design through the attainment of the Certificate of Occupancy. I also aided Developers in addressing municipality code and zoning issues. I assited Developers designing in-house master plans for proposed developments, preliminary architectural designs. I also assisted staff property managers in assessing potential tenants and provided feedback for potential tenant negotiations.

Design and prepare drawings for high-end "Mountain Homes" (log and timber frame residential architecture for wilderness contexts)

Designed and developed full construction documents and drawings for very high-end residential Architecture.

Worked in all phases of Architecture, specializing in commercial developments. Under the supervision of the firm owner and Architect, I provided comprehensive architectural services for Developers and "Big Box" tenants on large scale retail developments. Designed several Publix Supermarkets and adjacent retail shops.

I worked as a student intern at TVA in the Design and Facilities Management Department while I was attending the University of Tennessee pursuing a Bachelors of Architecture. I was involved in various facilities maintenance projects.
