And the group is quickly growing. “My destination is 100 financial representatives and 10 managers by the end of 2024,” said Thomas, confidently.While the agency’s growth has been record-setting for a new agency within Guardian, Thomas is most proud of its culture. “We are a culturally diverse and inclusive family,” he shared, matter-of-factly. “We strive to be supportive and loyal to one another, knowing there is enough business out there for everyone on the team to reach their desired level of success.”Thomas knows what it takes to excel in the industry. He became a life insurance agent in 2012, determined to help families protect their income and build financial legacies. He sold more than 100 life insurance policies during his first two years. As a result, Thomas qualified for Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)* in 2013 and 2014.Confident that he had a process for developing anyone with discipline, the desire to serve, and an entrepreneurial drive, Thomas accepted a promotion to partner with his prior firm in 2015. “My go-to saying is ‘Trust the process not the result!’” said Thomas. “I preach that to my team all of the time.” Thomas’ process paid off.
