•Develop and design new products to specification, modify the performance of existing products to meet new requirements, and to perform design work in support of manufacturing.•Responsible for designing revisions to achieve product performance and goals, evaluating and selecting new devices for use in existing products, diagnosing problems, directing repair strategies, testing and tuning products, and documenting design and test procedures.•Perform circuit analysis and optimization using computer aided design tools, reviews customer designs, develops cost models, and participates in the development and implementation of departmental product and technology strategies.

•Mentor college students majoring in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) who have a GPA of 2.5 or below.•Attend Professional Development Workshops pertaining to my major (Mechanical Engineering)•Lead the student liaisons committee to work with MAES (Mexican American Engineers and Scientists) and SHPE (Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers).
