I started with Northrop Grumman as a software engineer for the first 3 months building a test project that was designed to teach useful program-related skills. Here, I practiced working on an on-site team for the first time in almost three years, as well as learned useful tools regarding software development practices, and team-related work.After this, I moved on to become a product owner for a different team where I have:- Learned how to efficiently create Jira features and stories- Effectively populate, prioritize, and refine a backlog for 5 products- Design three products at the system level- Define interfaces between other products and my own- Use modelling tools to create activity, use case, and sequence diagrams- Use Confluence in a more advanced way to efficiently store documentation- Build a scrum team based on the needs of a product and work as both scrum master and product owner- Successfully transition the scrum master role to a dedicated team member- Created an allocation page used for all new team members to help more efficiently place team members on the teams that need them- Became the point of contact for new team members as they try to learn what their role is, as well as the roles of the other teams and what each product does- Proposed a software architecture design change that was baselined for all teams- Implemented the software architecture design change- Identified the needs of the teams and helped define the new software images that would be used in virtual desktop environments- Assisted in seating allocation as we began to run low on seats and teams needed to be moved to accommodate

As a software engineer, my team provided multiple pieces of software to other sectors in Northrop Grumman. Of the three pieces of software, they included a Risk Management system to handle programs and their risks, a Finance Reporting software to handle the finances related to those programs, and lastly an internal Authentication Service for our applications.While working on this team I learned how to write code with TypeScript and debug using the browser to follow UI requests back to the API. I worked in an Agile development team with daily standups and a bi-weekly Community of Practice meeting to discuss and learn about new tools, or further our understanding of our current tools.

I was assigned to a group that configures and deploys workstations and virtual machines for software test beds. We maintained over one hundred servers and workstations in the local network including updating, troubleshooting, and tearing them down. It utilized technology such as Active Directory to set permissions for various accounts across every workstation and server in a local network. I previously oversaw the creation and deletion of accounts across dozens of servers, assuring that we remained in compliance with account retention and turnover policies.My last assignment was to a group that maintained workstations and assisted engineers and developers in keeping their workstations in working condition.

I was a software development intern where I worked in C# using the WPF and Entity Frameworks to help maintain and fix bugs found in their software. I used MSSQL and created scripts to update entries in the database that were incorrect, and worked with MVC Razor to maintain a web portal to their database.

This was an internship where I learned how to use Computer Aided Design in some smaller projects including making DWG files that would be cut out using wood or plastic with a laser cutter. Some smaller pieces were designed and 3D printed by myself for a robotics team.One of our contracts was to refit pan-tilt-zoom heads for camera with new sensors and circuit boards to give them finer control. On That project I had to tear down and remove the old build and then refit with the new hardware and solder them in. We were contracted to populate ten large circuit boards with over one hundred small components. This required us to use a laser-cut diagram laid on top of the boards, then we smeared a solder paste through the holes and used a pick-and-place rig to place each component by hand before baking them in a solder oven.
