About Thomas Lindgren
Throughout my career I have been fortunate to work with small businesses and my own various companies. My experience spans diverse roles and skills - sales, business development, funding and roles such as advisor, CEO and Chairman to mention a few. I have spent the last 25 years in gaming, simulation and e-learning, previous to that I had a career in management consulting in various fields. Over the last 10 years I have been involved in and been a driving force in number of major divestitures and investments such as Bitsquid to Autodesk, ISD to Saab, Tencent investment into Fatshark, the sale of Goodbye Kansas Game Invest to Embracer as well as the buyout of Stardoll from Index, Santo, Sequoia, etc. In addition to these, I have been the driving force and enabler for the funding of many startups and established companies (ISD, Gamefederation, Schoolido, Bitsquid, Fatshark, Glorious Games, Wanderword to mention a few)In March 2016, I moved from being an investor to take over as CEO for Glorious Games Group (formerly Stardoll), a gaming company with a large, multi-national, primarily female user base that was facing significant challenges in transitioning from a PC browser based platform to more current and competitive solutions. In this role, I lead the team to a real turn-around to a stable business ready for growth and new exciting partnerships.

They invested in early stage game development companies with both money, knowledge, network, sweat and tears. The idea came from something that Peter Levin and discussed many years ago but he made it happened and started this exciting venture. The portfolio of companies was and still is a great mix and I look forward to them into the future. In August 2019, we sold the whole company, Goodbye Kansas Game Invest, to THQ Nordic (now called Embracer Group). I know the team and all the portfolio companies have ended up in a great company under Lars & Erik's management and I wish all of them best of luck.

Schoolido is founded by Hanna Harge and Oskar Schröder and they have created a learning platform that is fun, easy to use but most importantly, it follows the complete course curriculum so any student can use it and know exactly what they need to know. Initial focus is the Swedish school system and grade 7-9 but in the next couple of years, we will expand both horisontally and vertically. I am very proud to have been asked to be the chairman for this exciting venture that will help young students to a better learning, which will increase their probability for a great future. Schoolido closed a round of early stage funding in June 2014 and it was the fastest and best fund raising process I have ever been part of. Hanna and the team managed to do another successful round of funds in the spring of 2016 where amongst other, AcadeMedia invested. With me taking on the biggest turn-around case for me so far in Glorious Games, I decided to step down from the Schoolido board so the company could get all the positive energy it deserves. As a part of the deal, I had to be employed by Saab, to build their Global Joint Fires simulator business. This employment ended in August 2014. ISD Intressenter is today just a holding company and we will wind it down in due time when all the contractual parts with Saab has been concluded.
