Third-year Bachelor of Commerce Student. My fascination for how the economy and financial markets operate brought me to The University of Canterbury, where I am working towards my BCom majoring in Economics and Finance.During my studies at university, I have broadened my knowledge in corporate and business finance, financial modelling, and investments through finance papers. The economics papers I have taken have given me valuable knowledge in microeconomics, macroeconomics, public economics, and econometrics.My studies, work experience, and volunteering have given me many meaningful skills. These include communication, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, self-learning, and analytical thinking.Using the skills and knowledge I have gained, I hope to earn a position in the financial sector where I can further learn and develop new skills, gain valuable industry knowledge and connect with new people.
