Thomas Mack is an engineer, leader, team builder and an entrepreneur at heart. Thomas received his Electrical Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Dallas where he then leaped straight into business/IT with a strong focus on Cloud. Thomas has continuously proven to be a strategic leader who consistently challenges the status quo. He began his career in IT consulting working on innovative technologies to dramatically increase development and integration projects. He was one of the first to bring JDEdwards/ERP projects onto cloud computing technologies using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Thomas built the technical solutions sales practice for Collective Intellect, a SaaS social analytics startup, which was acquired by Oracle. He went on to be part of supporting the initial stages of building AT&Ts Cloud Services business and lead technical sales for the central and mid-west US.Since then he has driven incredible success with leading the Global Sales and Strategy practice for Pega Cloud, the cloud service solution for Pegasystems. Since joining, Pega Cloud has gone from a 10-person siloed project to now a streamlined organization with hundreds of dedicated personnel and one of the core directions of the company. In this role Thomas has built a global team that supports Pega’s sales teams on promoting and selling the Pega Cloud Service. Thomas is a key member of the cloud leadership team and an active change agent to promote growth and direction between organizations. Thomas’ passion is with entrepreneurial projects working with organizations from C level to IT to build and define business and sales strategies. He has a unique skill of working with cross functional teams from engineering, product, marketing to sales to drive collaborative projects and strategy. Thomas has strong insight dealing with the dynamic and fast pace Cloud Services ecosystem and leading new technologies and solutions into the space.
