Member of three person management team that lead the company to positive operating results - Directly responsible for Finance, including Treasury and Credit and Collections, Human Resources, Rights Management and International Sales functions for a $150 million publishing company comprised of publishing and client publisher distribution businesses.

Major Areas of Responsibility:* Oversaw the Rights Management function. Led the project team that developed and implemented a comprehensive Rights Management System that encompasses Author Contracts, Sub-Rights Licensing, and Royalty Reporting thereby reducing annual operating costs by $500,000 per year.* Other areas of responsibility included: supervision of divisional business managers, internal management reporting and external reporting to the German parent company, Credit and Collection function for North American unit, and Financial Planning.* Implemented standard Financial Valuation Policies, in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) on a worldwide basis.* Initiated a worldwide benchmarking analysis that allowed comprehensive comparisons across business units* Developed annual budgets, prepared and assisted in the presentation of worldwide budgets to Bertelsmann CEO and CFO.

Led the controlling functions of a $500 million consumer publishing company. Areas of responsibility included internal management reporting and external reporting to the German parent company, coordination of annual external audit, liaison with internal auditors and Financial Planning and Analysis
