With two permanent locations and two additional seasonal locations in prominent high schools Bit Space has guided more than 4500 Chicago area (and beyond) students as young as 4 and as old as 18. In addition to camps and after school programs in Bit Space retail locations, Bit Space provides after school programming remotely at more than 20 area schools. Over the past 18 months Bit Space has grown it’s B2B consulting services through the design and fabrication of 7 maker lab environments inside local public and private schools. We continue to work with an increasing number of schools to provide curricular integration through Bit Space lead and developed programming and curriculum. In Early 2019 our complete line of flat-packable maker lab furniture and comprehensive online curricular library will launch for schools worldwide. Through ongoing relationships with University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, public school leaders, and some of the best and brightest teachers in our community Bit Space has proven itself a leader in integrating the complex nature of advanced creative technologies in K-12 education.
