* Developed an internal application to streamline how data is read from and written to the Neo4j databases, including automatic retries on transient errors, thorough logging on non-recoverable errors, controlling db triggers through a simple policy, and routing the data generated by those triggers to message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka for other microservices to consume* Eliminated many of the AWS dependencies such as storing files in either S3 or MinIO, and storing config in either SSM Parameter Store or Redis. This enabled the GraphGrid platform to run in non-AWS environments, including air gapped networks* Prototyped machine learning models to accomplish NLP tasks such as named entity recognition and part of speech tagging* Worked with a team to apply those NLP models to documents as they are added to a Neo4j database
