About Thomas Mcalevey

- Born in New York, Tom graduated with honors from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In the mid-80s he spent two years riding a motorcycle around the world; a few years later he lost his left arm in a motorcycle accident. Since the early 90s he has lived primarily in Sweden with his two daughters. Tom is best known as the founder of "Bandit 105.5 The Rock Home of Stockholm". He sold the highly acclaimed Swedish rock station to RTL. He went on to create two popular networks; Radio Lapland and Right On Radio. He also ran a successful Swedish nightclub and founded an interactive Internet radio station - Tomsradio.com. In 2009 Tom completed an award winning feature documentary film - "Adventuress Wanted" - about life, love, and relationships; set against a beach-buggy trip across all of Africa! Presently he is running a music industry start-up called Radical.FM. Tom has a black-belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, drives anything with a motor, speaks fluent Swedish and street Spanish, and he is an expert mechanic.Specialties: Too many to list...Tom has been featured on TV, radio, and film; he is also the subject of countless newspaper articles. He has built several corporations from the ground up. Tom is a natural leader and motivator with a gift for negotiations and public relations.
