Developed curricula with a focus on Business English and English for Specific Purposes.Identified and incorporated a variety of learning materials, resources and technology methods such as Interactive Whiteboard technology and Internet based practice. Established a system of student assessment based on the CEFR to evaluate students’ performance in order to monitor advancement as well as to assess students’ entrance English proficiency level. Developed promotional materials and website alongside the commercial manager as well as translated from Spanish to English.

Prepared students to take the TOEFL iBT in order to matriculate at the post graduate level abroad to primarily Ivy League MBA programs in the U.S. Improved and later constructed the academy’s TOEFL iBT teaching curriculum. Coached and consulted other teachers in order to teach TOEFL iBT preparation. Improved TOEFL iBT test scores by 18-point average. Assisted students with college admissions interviews, applications and essay editing. Designed academic English conversation classes tailored to students’ needs.
