Responsible for a $13 million dollar, 2 year, 17 engineer program to tool up the fastestprototype helicopter ever brought to market (Bell V280). Managed 178 unique tools designed to assemble aircraft components including, but not limited to main drive gearbox, nacelles, wing, rotors, and fuselage. Specialized in gear tooling. Designed assembly and test fixtures for the four gearboxes included on the V280. Aided Bell Helicopter in design for manufacturing. Drove and expedited design and manufacturing schedule due to extremely compressed timeline. Maintained healthy margin through efficient designs and supply chain management

Managed machinists, manufacturing engineers, lean engineers, and shop leaders. Led 5S and standard work initiatives to decrease scrap and set up times. Forecasted capacity, tracked and improved efficiencies, and implemented corrective actions. Scheduled 50+ machining centers. Manage training matrix to cross-train operators to increase flexibility. Determine Capex decisions and manage overall manufacturing budget.
