About Thomas Mcinnes
I'm an aspiring computer scientist with a creative side, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus area of Computer Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. It's my dream to work within the Virtual and Augmented Reality industry in some form, whether that be utilizing my computer science knowledge in software development, or my computer engineering skills in hardware development. I believe that VR/AR has the potential to be another stepping stone into the future of high tech, just like AI and machine learning has proven itself to be. One of my greatest strengths is the pace at which I learn anything from new programming languages to software. I code primarily in C/C++, C#, and Python not just professionally but also as a hobby and pastime. Much of my current experience lies in giving assistance for Mines coursework, both through my own classes and my experience as a teaching assistant, enabling me to think critically about algorithms and programming solutions.Many of my personal programming projects are available publicly on my Github, which is linked here as my website.
