Rebuilding customer portal and creating new (self-service) features. The portal is the online banking environment for private and business customers, where they can see and do transactions and make settings for their cards. My role is general design direction (UX/UI) for a freelance team as well as creating the UX for new business customer features.My week consists mostly on alignments with UX and UI designers on the portal design and on meetings with the stakeholders in business banking to gather information on the new feature designs, which I create.In my current position I enjoy the mix of hands-on design work on paper and in Figma, the exchange with stakeholders from business and IT as well as having the oversight of another design team.

Initiative (local)As part of several hackathons I was instrumental in the creation of successful initiatives presented to the board and brought to life in short time.Initiative (global)On my impulse, a co-worker and I held a global Figma "Advanced Prototyping" workshop for hundreds of colleagues. I was also facilitator of the global Content Design Guild and active member of the Business Banking Design Guild and helped organizing the DTNS conference 2023. Plus, I was writing content for ING’s design blog.
