The objective of Odonata Research LLC is to provide aerospace engineering services in the areas of aeroelasticity, flight & ground loads, structural dynamics, ground vibration testing, flight flutter testing, and engineering software development.I have a strong background in finite element analysis with proficiency in multiple commercial packages. My recent professional experience has focused on Part 25 aeroelasticity, ground vibration testing, flight flutter testing, and loads analysis. Prior to that, I performed composite laminate design, testing and analysis with application directed at wind turbine blades. Developed software to parametrically generate the finite element model for ANSYS. Developed software to calculate the effective 3D orthotropic composite laminate properties from the 2D in-plane test data. Developed software to evaluate the composite laminate using the LaRC03 multi-mode failure criteria. -

Demonstrated the use of hybrid composites in improving the shear web buckling characteristics of a composite I-beam representative of a wind turbine spar. Demonstrated the correlation between extension-shear coupling at the laminate level with bend-twist coupling at the blade level.
