I build, test, and manage cloud-based IOT platforms on Linux and openwrt. My skills include everything from building custom os images with enhanced security features, managing secure custom cloud based OSES for iot devices to report to, package management for secure update of IOT images. I also can build custom kernels (devicetree etc) using out-of-tree kernel modules. I should note, however, that I am NOT a kernel developer, just a highly advanced user of the Linux Kernel. I also perform docker container audits, as well as container orchestration and security thereof. I also have a pechant for filesystems (f2fs being my favorite for slow flash media on iot devices).

I developed a custom OS marketplace image for Cree's nascent cloud strategy on azure. I was responsible for security architecture (including PKI, disaster recovery, DevSecOps), as well as spearheading security features on both OpenWRT and Centos on various arm platforms (RPI, NXP IMx6 etc). I also researched crypto chips and concluded that most aren't worth buying. I also used ansible to automate a complete, secure build pipeline (including signing packages and repos)
