HIM is a not-for-profit organization that helps the elderly and disabled in Fauquier County, VA,... others as resources permit.In the year ending 31 Aug 2013, we delivered 9 tons of venison; over 4000 loaves of bread; 2 tons of other foods; cut/split/delivered/stacked 10 cords of firewood, and repaired a roof. We have about 100 volunteers and no paid staff.

Each year on Labor Day weekend, the VSGA hosts the Virginia Scottish Games at the Great Meadow field events center (near The Plains, VA). I was the coordinator for about 125 volunteers. I also reorganized everything stored electronically. As I always do, I wrote many process documents to ensure others would be able to follow the processes even after I left. I dealt primarily with safety and security issues, to include shipping nuclear warheads from deployed locations to destruction facilities. I led the team that developed and maintained the software that effected command and control of all of America's nuclear weapons. If POTUS was to push that red button, it would be our software that ensured the proper missile(s) went to the proper target(s). Failure was not an option.

Back in the early days of computers, the WWMCCS system was so convoluted that few could figure out how to use it. That was my job. ANYTHING to work with computers...count me in.
