I was one of two analysts managing finance for the CEMEA region within which I was responsible for Russia, Poland and Portugal specifically. The role involved managing the P&L between gross and net revenue including the budgets for deal desk, market development fund and operating expenses. My tasks included closing the books on a monthly basis and being responsible for all revenue related reporting for the region. Procter & Gamble: Feb 2004-Jun 2004Service Centre Accountant (Central SRAP team) reporting to SRAP Regional Process ownerAs part of a newly formed central SRAP team I was responsible for the Swiss legal entities and reporting of the non-manufacturing overheads to management on a monthly basis. I led a project to consolidate 10 new legal entity’s SRAP reporting into this central group. I developed the SRAP close out documentation that has been adopted for the global training. I qualified as a trainer for SRAP and Chart of Accounts/Data Administration.Procter & Gamble: Jan 2001–Feb 2004Service Centre Accountant (UK General Ledger) reporting to UK GL Team leaderI was responsible for the production of the monthly financial statements for a UK legal entity. I completed the SRAP (non-manufacturing overhead) accounting for 3 UK legal entities. I was part of the faster close project team that worked across the site to improve the speed of out close and succeeded in reducing the days to close for SRAP and GL by 2 days. I was also the business support specialist and SAP master data administrator for the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Whilst in this role I won a GEM (Going the Extra Mile) award for the customer service that I gave during the year-end close out in the April – June 2003 quarter.
