Meet Tom – a founder, a foodie and a pilot…with a very loud laugh! With over 15 years worth of experience in contract catering, Tom brings his entrepreneurial spirit and detailed approach in every thing he does. He is proud Founder and Managing Director of Catey Award Winning - Culinera - focusing on feeding the future within schools in the South of England. More recently he has founded Thomas & Tate alongside Sam Tate and Adam Nossek - a premium caterer focusing on workplaces and event venues in the South of England.Having recently been awarded the prestigous Newcomer Award at the 2023 Catey’s, Tom stands as the only contract caterer to have been awarded this accolade, usually reserved for restaurants and renowned chefs (such as Gordon Ramsey and Tom Kerridge!). You could say - Tom ‘grew up’ in the catering world, spending his formative years observing his mother work for BaxterSmith as Mike Smith and William Baxter's PA. Tom joined BaxterStorey as part of a planned gap year, working in administration, before joining the Sales Team. Tom quickly found his feet and rose through the ranks of BaxterStorey, Caterlink and Searcys. In very early 2020 Tom left the Executive Team at Searcys and began on his own journey. Loving life working with two amazing hospitality businesses; Culinera and Thomas & Tate.
