Within my current role as the Director of Business Development, I am responsible for coordinating sales and marketing for lead generation and to source and prequalify the top dental practices for acquisition. I oversee our sales & marketing strategy by managing multiple processes such as direct efforts, buy-side marketing and corporate development partners, and brokered processes to increase quantity of new acquisitions for company growth. I directly engage with prospective practice owners and consult with them on benefits of joining our company and preparing them for an acquisition. I am also responsible for our program development, having created and implemented multiple routines, protocols, meetings, strategy sessions, and activities across multiple teams to increase marketing and sales effectiveness. I also develop our sales content and streamline market research and collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective and engaging content which leverages against the competition- including print, digital, video, social media, and presentation collateral for direct and partner programs. An exciting aspect of this role is customer engagement and prequalifying and educating prospective partners on benefits of merging with a growing healthcare company. I also enjoy the project management side as well, by overseeing various sales & marketing initiatives within business development and marketing teams and assess the effectiveness of these efforts, making necessary adjustments as needed.

VOCO America Inc. produces some of the highest quality dental restoratives that are on the cutting edge of the industry's technology. I served as the direct sales consultant for the NYC territory. My main objectives were meeting and consulting directly with doctors, healthcare clinics, and staff to provide the best service and clinical knowledge possible. I have enjoyed the challenge of learning a whole new field and applying my experience as an educator in this new professional path. Just within a few years I had increased the territory’s total sales and exceeded my growth goals and target product goals. I have earned numerous acknowledgements and company awards for my achievements including top sales rep for growth and focus products, including President's Club status. I am also valued among my leadership and peers as an expert in sales methodologies and strategy, often consulting within the company to help educate other fellow sales professionals. I was honored to have presented on these sales strategies during national sales meetings, company-wide webinars, and directly to fellow sales consultants. I also created sales training videos on how to increase success using the Salesforce platform, often directly coaching others on my systems.

I taught physical education and health education at the middle school level within the Academy Charter School; one of Long Island’s most awarded community charter school networks. I created, organized and led the after school intramural sports program, coached numerous sport teams, and co-founded the school’s first volleyball team as well as facilitated the recess program. I see and know every student in the building, creating amazing relationships and inspiring young athletes to strive above and beyond!

I had the opportunity to again be a founding teacher within an excellent charter network, Explore Charter Schools. I was the physical education teacher in the network's third charter school, Explore Excel, located in Canarsie Brooklyn. Here I taught grades K-5 physical education classes as well as literacy intervention and leading the school recycling program. Being a part of such a prestigious charter network, helping to developing another founding school, further expands my skills in teaching, management, and pedagogy. The continued growth and addition of excellent charter schools gives students and parents better options for an excellent education.

I was a physical education teacher in a new founding charter school part of the Success Charter Network. I taught grades K-1, we focused on developing fundamental sport skills and increasing knowledge of health and fitness. I also founded the school's Nutrition Committee where we created a healthy eating program for staff. We have fresh and nutritious food delivered daily which provides our staff with the healthy nutrition for educating our students. The committee also established a building-wide recycling program where we cooperate with the NYC Dept. of Sanitation to recycle all paper waste.

I have worked as a teacher's assistant in a Special Education school, The Gillen Brewer School. This school is directed to teaching Autistic students and other students with various learning disabilities. I teach small classes of students basic academic lessons, as well as one-on-one. I am a paraprofessional for two students who I work very closely with, I maintain their behavior and academic work.

I worked a sports camp in Saint Brigid's summer camp in Westbury. I led groups of children from grades K-8 in sports and activities.

I was teaching Physical Education and Health in Plainedge Middle School for a leave replacement position. The PE position was combined team taught classes and I taught a variety of subjects in the Health section.
