About Thomas Byers, Cpa

Mr. Byers possesses more than 25 years of experience leading and executing financial solutions for corporate and Governmental customers. Tom’s Federal career started with the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense, where he conducted a mix of performance and financial audits, reviews, and special projects covering areas such as advanced technologies development, acquisition management, and included some of the earliest Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) Act and Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) audits. Since leaving Government service, Tom held leadership positions with KPMG, BearingPoint, American Management Systems (AMS), Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and TeraThink Corporation. He also holds a DoD TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children and playing and collecting guitars.
