An experienced and highly effective leader of IT operations, I have worked in major corporate ICT businesses and more recently, within the IT support function unit. I have a well-established professional practice, contributing to critical IT initiatives spanning governance, infrastructure development and change, as well as operational management. Having been identified as a high performer, I have been promoted to lead IT teams with a mission-critical business support mandate. In 2014, I was asked to step up to the role of Technology and Business Applications Manager to provide strong leadership to a team while the business went through a restructure, instilling a commitment to best-in-class service delivery, governance and operational processes. Later, I was promoted again to manage a key portfolio within the business, expanding both the team and our portfolio. At the same time, I have both led and contributed to the proposal, development and implementation of complex IT projects designed to enhance technical performance, reduce risk and cut annual costs drastically. I have also advised on governance matters, keeping our IT operations in full compliance for the state-wide business. I am able to lead projects utilising both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, coordinating efforts with the PMO and sourcing input from diverse stakeholders to deliver on business requirements.
