I am pleased to announce our newly formed company, TruCancel, will hit the market in January 2025. TruCancel was created to help digital companies satisfy their obligation to the Click to Cancel law. Under the Click to Cancel law, internet companies are required to make their cancellation process as easy as their purchase process. With TruCancel, companies can easily offer a true one-click purchase and a true one-click cancellation. TruCancel is a one-stop shop for compliance with the Click to Cancel law.Brief History of TruCancel:TruCancel was a project of mine over the past several years. We actually started with the idea of offering true one-click refunds. After developing a prototype of our service, we spent a significant amount of time looking for funding. A decision was made by me that we had to bootstrap our service first and get a customer base, before obtaining funding. Just recently we have been building the platform for one-click refunds. Because of the regulatory changes with Click to Cancel, we decided to pivot to one-click cancellations initially, as opposed to refunds.Our one-click cancellation platform will be ready in January 2025. TruRefund (our refund platform), will be rolled out in the coming months after TruCancel.
