Current- Produced an extensive, detailed, 80-page report on the Covid-19 Inquiry Module 2B (Wales) proceedings which showcased comprehensive analysis that informed the future work programme of the Welsh Parliament’s Covid-19 Special Purpose Committee.- Produced 5 policy papers in designated portfolio area; working both independently and collaboratively to develop 3 education-specific policy papers, all approved by the Shadow Cabinet for the upcoming Manifesto.- Analysed data collected from a regional survey (14,000 participants) which informed parliamentary business and local policies, such as improving access to sports facilities and raising reading standards in schools.- Collaborated with Welsh universities to reassess current funding models for Research, Development, and Innovation: developed 6 policy recommendations to enhance the RD&I landscape in Welsh HEIs and support economic and social development.- Tabled 3 motions, including one to secure better teaching reading guidance and standards in Welsh schools, aimed at closing the attainment gap in Wales.- Fostered strong relations with UK Government officials on matters of shared responsibility, such as the Shared Prosperity Fund and UK Steel-making.- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication by delivering high-quality briefings on an array of topics, including weekly committee briefing papers, and briefings for weekly parliamentary debates.- Demonstrated effective multi-tasking by preparing at least 5 Ministerial speeches weekly, participating in weekly cross-part group meetings, and leading over 15 policy sessions while managing stakeholder engagement.- Facilitated over 10 meetings per week in the initial stages of working under the Education portfolio, engaging with at least 100 public and private sector stakeholders, enhancing and maintaining stakeholder relations.
