Developed automated measurement programs using a Nikon Nexiv to measure polyurethane tubes and silicone components. Performed gage R&R studies to qualify the measurement programs.Developed new suppliers of polyurethane tubes for use in leads and qualified the new components.

• Design of a chronic implantable pressure sensor to monitor blood pressure in heart failure patients:
• Develop specifications and work with supplier to customize a MEMS pressure transducer
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) of pressure transducer to determine measurement error
• Develop implantable pressure sensor calibration algorithm and error budget
• Perform qualitative computational fluid dynamic (CFD) analysis of the implantable pressure sensor to evaluate blood flow around the device
