Thomas Illingworth is a IT Developer (GIS Officer) at Leeds City Council at Leeds City Council. He possess expertise in css, html, photography, php, dreamweaver and 19 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Thomas (Tom) worked with our Marketing and Web team from September 2012 to August 2013. He was more than able to manage his own time and workloads, to the extent that he was given projects to deliver independently - all of which have been delivered well and to schedule. He was given full responsibility for the development and maintenance of student led websites, including www.teamhare.co.uk and www.canalsidestudios.com. Tom worked closely with staff and students to ensure the content on the sites was kept fresh and vibrant. In addition, Tom gave support for our virtual learning environment, Unilearn. The priority for the team during his placement was to ensure that every module in the School had up-to-date and engaging content. Tom and his supervisor worked together to do this and I am delighted to say they successfully completed this work ahead of time. Tom also helped out with delivering our applicant focussed events and at University Open Days, developing great customer relations skills and the ability to lead small tours. In fact we are delighted that he has continued to work with us, as he is now working as a Student Ambassador, As a student on placement and in his current role, Tom has always been a great ambassador for our School. I would have no hesitation in recommending him if you were to want to employ him . Tom is great to work with, he is friendly and approachable and always willing to help."
