These are some of the skills and values I can bring to a project or a team.My professional and personal journey, from France to Chile via Germany, has led me to a work in a variety of fields with a lot of international exposure. These many experiences has brought me great interpersonal skills, adaptability and flexibility, all of which I can apply in the following fields:Journalism & Writing -- Author of the guidebook "Vivre le Chili" (ed. Hikari, 2014), I have written articles on a variety of subjects in French, Spanish and English, and two biographies for private clients (all in French) -- I also have 8 years of experience writing reports, editing, and providing newsletters. Areas of expertise: Travel, international finance, Latin America, socio-economic issues, culture and arts, and wine -- On a more creative note, I am the author of several short novels, and a script for a video game.Research -- During my almost 4 years at Evalueserve Chile, I worked as a Senior Research Associate, preparing newsletter about economics and financial news within an international team. This experience brought me a lot of insight about banking & economics, with a focus on the Asian markets -- I developed the habit of thorough research and fact-checking in this role, as we had to frequently check multiple sources and make sure the data we got from them was accurate.Tour guide & travel advisor -- I co-founded two travel agencies in Chile, the first one focused on private tours in Santiago, Valparaiso area and vineyards; the second dedicated to more upscale, unique traveling experiences throughout the country -- One of the two agencies failed, and I used this as a great learning experience. As a result, the other one, Chile Private Tours, is now recognized as one of the best travel agencies in the country by TripAdvisor.Translator -- Part of my job as an editor has been to translate articles from English or Spanish into French, and vice-versa, on variety of topics.
