Canterra Lighting has completed over 2,500 installations ranging from Office, Retail, Warehouse, Dining, Education, Casino's & Hospitality sectors.Tom founded Canterra Homes, Inc. who builds neighborhoods of exclusively single-story homes in the Phoenix area. Tom also served as Chairman & CEO of Ventura Mortgage Group, a Residential Mortgage Broker.Over the past 19 years, Canterra built over 1650 homes in 22 different communities.In 2005 Canterra was recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as the 38th largest privately held company & the 8th fastest growing company in AZ.Tom assembled a Board of Directors to start a bank, Pinnacle Bank.The Board raised $13 Million, & on 9-28-05 Pinnacle opened for its 1st day of business. Tom serves as Chairman.Tom assisted in identifying 5 other quality homebuilders from the US to form their own captive insurance company & Tom serves as a member of the Board. Tom spent his early years working in various departments of Koch Industries, the largest privately held company in the United States. Later he was a Portfolio Consultant with HOLT Value Associates, now part of Credit Suisse First Boston, where he assisted Mutual Fund & Money Managers select investments.Specialties:The past 25 years, Tom has been active in the Fiesta Bowl. He has chaired & volunteered for numerous events. Tom was also on the Board for Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO), and was selected as 1 of 60 worldwide candidates to participate in Inc.
