Built a portfolio of AI-driven tax, expense management and deposit products for small businesses on top open banking and open finance (Finch, Codat, Plaid, Stripe) API stacks. Drove nearly 15M of new SaaS ARR while enabling thousands of SMBs and other startups to realize billions in tax credits and other financial savings. Led a high performance team of ~75 engineers, designers and PMs.

Built a portfolio of SaaS products for fintechs, neo-banks and incumbent banks driving 40M ARR inside of 2 years. Products covering open banking and instant digital issuance including: realtime transactions controls and data feeds, realtime configuration of card features&interchange, forex/multicurrency apis. Transformed Visa's digital GTM strategy through reseller partnerships with integration partners and through interoperable, developer-friendly API design enabling wide distribution of Visa value-add-services across highly diverse usecases, customer segments and geographies. One of Visa's more prolific inventors, with 80+ global patent grants in payment technology, digital wallets and commerce experiences.

Owned and scaled the Visa Checkout program from 400k to 46M registered users and 300,000 Merchants in 34 countries. Led the product through to the adoption of Visa Checkout as a global EMVCo standard as SRC or "Click-to-pay". Managed a team of 15+ product owners leading a matrix org of 100+ dedicated engineers and designers.

Led regional Visa Direct Strategy, launching world-first deals for bulk disbursements and Inter-bank cross-border transfers using Visa Direct.Conceived and led a product, marketing and partnership strategy to drive card usage for bill payment and recurring categories resulting in 30% growth in Visa segment revenue and >100 Million dollars txn volume.

A major Toronto start-up and tech community event series, DemoCamp has been linking developers, hackers and entrepreneurs over the last decade. Active member of the community since 2006, frequent event speaker, organizer of Enterprise and Commerce focused conferences and meetups.

Following acquisition of CertaPay, led product innovation for CIBC's Global Deposits and Payments division. Developed Canada's first issuing launch of Visa Prepaid and Visa Debit in Canada. Led CIBC successful bid to become bank sponsor for 'Presto Card' Canada's first digital transit payment wallet now used by millions of daily commuters across 10 major transit authorities in Canada. As Steering and working group committee member for Canada's Interac Association, saw through the cross border expansion of that PIN debit network and the expansion of the Interac E-transfers service.

Fintech SaaS startup where I co-invented Canada's ubiquitous "Email Money Transfers" - also the world’s first realtime inter-bank p2p payment platform. Today EMT processes over 100B in annual payment volume. At CertaPay, we designed from scratch a net-new realtime payment rail, as a fully-managed SaaS offering which we successfully sold and integrated into every major online banking platform in Canada. Exited by acquisition to a consortium of banks under Interac Association in 2002.
