Digital Financial Manager who never intended to enter into the world of finance. Yes that’s correct: a few years ago I wanted to be a photographer, videographer, graphic designer; really anything where I could use my creative thinking.I surprised myself, and honestly continue to surprise myself everyday that this is the type of role I’m working in.Within my role I’ve helped manage our FP&A processes for our digital business. This consists of a core seven business units, with additional auxiliary units.I’ve assisted in the development of the past three annual budgets, progressing and developing our process every year. Most recently I’ve been given the responsibility of managing our 2023 budget. This relies heavily on cross functional collaboration, including working with our Department Heads, Sales Leaders, and other financial colleagues to ensure we hit our deadlines, feel ambitious tofoster growth, but also feel confident in achieving our 2023 goals.When I’m not working on a budget I have my ongoing weekly and monthly tasks. This includes forecasting revenue & expenses, weekly pacing, building models for other teammates to use, and assisting with closing the books to help our controller at month end.And when I’m out of the office, I still fire up those creative abilities by exploring the Colorado wilderness, snapping pictures of my adventures, and curating personal content to develop my personal brand.
