Managed customer service oriented IT Department. Led mission-critical transition of 40 faculty and 300 students to distance learning in March, 2020. Simultaneously orchestrated and supported fast-paced transition to a new learning management system. Developed and implemented a technology plan for construction of a 73 acre athletic facility to provide connectivity for communication and security.

Spearheaded the creation of Professional Learning Communities for 40 faculty in preparation for a 1:1 laptop implementation for 300 students in grades 5-12.

Lead the school community in integration of technology into curriculum and instruction. Created and carried out an Academic Technology Plan for the school and designed strategies for achieving the plan's goals and objectives. These strategies included:Aligned existing student academic standards (Taft Portrait of a Graduate) with International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) NETS-S standards and created teacher technology standards that align Taft's Portrait of a Graduate with ISTE NETS-T standards. Teach a course in Journalism and Web Media to Taft students and advise The Global Journal, a student publication. Train and collaborate with teachers of all content areas and technology ability levels to plan for and deliver technology intensive lessons. Assist teachers in developing rubrics to assess high-tech student work. Designed and delivered training for experienced and new faculty in classroom technology useCreated and delivered a student technology orientation programCreated web-based multimedia training materials to support all training effortsAssisted department chairs in evaluating faculty in technology use for teaching and learning. Administer Taft’s Learning Management System (Moodle) and provide training for its use. Lead groups of faculty and students piloting the use of new technologies for instruction and learning.

Provided technology consulting and training to 33 K-12 school districts in the northwest portion of Connecticut. Directed Project CLEAR, an environmental science oriented grant involving 125 high school students and 100 middle school students.
