l am an undergraduate student currently undertaking a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus. I have hopes of progressing into medicine, where l can give back to the community through work in the healthcare system. I also desire to play a significant role in social welfare throughout the Gold Coast community, with the goal of elevating the under privileged to greater heights and to alleviate their struggles & despair.I completed my schooling on the NSW Far North Coast at St Joseph's College where l received my Higher School Certificate and outstanding ATAR that was second highest in the cohort. During my time there l was engaged in various volunteer programs that ranged from mentoring, event organisation, sport participation to assisting the elderly, disabled and the under privileged. This not only expanded my perspective on the social welfare issues, but also gave myself a greater spiritual connection.I've been described as a vibrant and vivacious individual with exceptional character who is a great leader due to my ability to empathise, listen to, and organise those around me. Due to my roles in leadership, not only in the community but to my siblings l have developed various skills such as; communication, public speaking, the ability to work in groups and public speaking to name a few. I strive to be a role model for the community and to uphold an approachable and gentle hearted nature with an open mind. This is to not only better myself but to hopefully leave an impressionable mark on those around me and to prompt them to become a better versions of themselves.In the not to distant future l wish to be actively involved in the medical field to provide for patient health and treatment. I am currently seeking employment and/ore volunteering opportunities to improve and develop a unique skill set and gain experiences that will enrich any future career or education opportunities that may arise.
