Responsible for all trading, hedging and valuation activities related to MSR, IRLC, and LHFS assets. Deliver $20 billion of loan volume annually to GSEs, GNMA and whole-loan investors. Generate executional gains above baseline pricing levels via Spec, CRA, whole-loan trading. Negotiate and manage MSR co-issue and bulk sale agreements to support company’s objective to minimize MSR asset. MSR transaction volume of $60+ billion since 2017 involving various counterparties.

Responsible for valuation of all Capital Markets managed assets and related activities. Determine fair market value of MSR, IRLC, and LHFS portfolios as well as any related hedge positions. Manage and oversee the processes for loan pooling and loan delivery to all investors (GSE/GNMA/Private).

Provide MSR managment oversight to Lonestar Funds-owned mortgage companies (Vericrest Financial & Caliber Home Loans).

Responsible for the overall management of the Mortgage Servicing Right asset which includes determining fair market value, creating interest rate risk profiles, assessing hedge effectiveness, and leadership on sales or acquisitions. Responsible for analytics on the mortgage banking held-for-sale pipeline including pull-through curves used for valuation, attribution analysis, and performance reviews. Responsible for reporting of interest rate risk, performance and valuation support to various governance groups, such as ALCO, ERM and Board-level committees.

Managed $1+ billion MSR/IO asset. Responsible for establishing fair market value of MSR and I/O portfolio (Level 3 asset). Defend and support valuation to internal/external auditors as well as regulators. Helped manage active hedge program for MSR asset. Assisted in the sale of the mortgage platform to MetLife Bank.

Managed the process/team responsible for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting of income statement and balance sheet for First Horizon’s mortgage banking segment.Managed financial forecast for production, servicing and corporate division with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion and balance sheet of more than $10 billion.
