The goal of PCI is to make investments in organizations and companies that promote economic development, create employment opportunities for low and moderate-income residents, increase or maintain the availability of affordable housing, and expand access to healthcare and social services.

Responsible for origination, underwriting, approval, closing and portfolio management of all loans, ranging in size from $100,000 to $2,500,000 in the New England portfolio. Expertise in structuring various types of loans for nonprofits, including lines of credit, term loans, subordinate debt, New Market Tax Credit transactions, leasehold improvement, and growth and star-up financing. Advised clients on financial decisions including program expansion, rent v. buy, program profitability, budgeting, and proper use of debt. Maintained strong relationships with existing borrowers and developed and cultivated relationship with external referral network.

Originated, underwrote and closed affordable housing loans to for-profit and nonprofit developers. Working knowledge of LIHTC, CDBG, HOME and other federal and state subsidy programs. Negotiated with for-profit and non-profit developers, city officials and other lenders to resolve issues arising throughout the loan origination, approval and closing processes
