Chicago Board of Trade, Chicago, IL – Project Manager$180 million, 320,000 sf Design-Build project, requiring an expansion to the existing operating facility supporting a 60,000 sf column free trading floor. Responsible for preconstruction, estimating, planning, design management, GMP development, contract awards/negotiations, construction activities, obtaining city agency approvals to occupy, and closeout activities. Construction started September 1994 and was completed February 1997. McCormick Place Expansion Project, Chicago, IL – Project Engineer / Estimator Mc3D$675 million, Design-Build project to provide a 2.9 million sf Convention Center, creating the world's largest Exhibition and Convention Center. The project was a joint venture, designed and constructed for the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority. Responsibilities included preconstruction estimating, design management, and subcontractor procurement.Children's Memorial Institute for Education and Research, Chicago, IL $20 million, 6-story, 110,000 sf vivarium and research laboratory facility.
