Managing an Agile software development project within a waterfall project management department. Currently the project has four full-time employees but will soon expand to ten or more. This effort links our legacy systems to a new Workday HR and Finance system, with over 50 applications and 40,000 hours of work scheduled to be developed from the initial technology stack. Working with senior management to begin infusing Agile / CICD ideas into our waterfall project methodology.Coordinating Windows and SQL Server 2008 Migrations / Retirements as part of a larger university effort, with a total budget for this fiscal year of approximately $750k. One retirement alone saved the university $450k in extra support costs from Microsoft.Developed a custom model for tracking employee time using VBScript, Pivot Tables, and data from resource managers. Migrating this data and others into our Atlassian and Planview project management software stacks.

Worked on simulations for consulting customers. Built simple, low-fidelity simulations by myself and assisted other engineers with theirs. Helped document these partial and complete simulations for customers. Interfaced Emerson Mimic with DeltaV, Bailey PLCs, and other DCS platforms.

Designed and prototyped future unit operations for addition into Emerson's Mimic simulation software. Collaborated with software developers to ensure my designs would be feasible within their current simulation designs. Researched other published models and documented my own.

Created new interface for TSI 3550/3560 Integrating Nephelometer in LabVIEW. Assisted in construction of photoacoustic instruments. Built mixing chamber for aerosol research. Operated SMPS (CPC and Electrostatic Classifier) and learned basic aerosol theories (Mie, etc.). Current work involves simulation of DLA aggregation using MATLAB and C on a Linux computing cluster.

Assisting in running the lab, updating its experiments in conjunction with Professor Heider, and teaching students process control fundamentals using a series of experiments built to use Emerson DeltaV control software.

Gave tours to potential students and their parents of the campus and residence halls.
