My name is Tom, and I’m a learning designer with 10 years of experience who is focused on creating fun and engaging courses! I’ve been super passionate about learning my entire life, but I’m also passionate about watching TV, movies and playing video games. Everyone has always said how these things mix like oil and water, but I say, “why don’t we make learning as exciting and entertaining as film, tv and video games?” 🎮🍿🎲That’s my goal! To make your learning experience as engaging as the latest Netflix series everyone is binge-watching or the latest video game to dominate the streams on Twitch. By combining rigorous learning design processes with these story elements, we can truly create a magnetic learning experience together. ⚙️🎨💡My profile is riddled with examples of different courses I’ve created but pay close attention to the animated training courses I created with HRdownloads – they are some great examples of engaging and fun learning design in there. 🤠🎉👨🚀I’ll leave you with some parting statistics about my learning design experience, feel free to reach out to me and we can set up a time to discuss how to create some kickass learning experiences together. 🥊💪🔥🛠️ 102 unique courses developed, totalling approximately 113,000 minutes or 1890 hours of unique learning designed.✏️ 2.86 million total courses assigned over an estimated 670,000 individual learners, totalling 1.3 billion minutes or 2.18 million hours of total learning consumed by individual learners. 🤑 5 commercial programs developed supporting close to $30 million of revenue.👩🏫 89% of the time, I was lead learning design on a design effort.👨🎓 61% of the time, I was subject matter expert when designing a course.👨🔬 46% of the time, I performed all major roles relating to designing and publishing a course including author, designer, project manager, producer, publisher, and marketer.
