Managed technical resources to verify requirements and developed a video network concept to replace the existing cable system in the dorm rooms. • Achieved 152% of sales quota in 2011.The following is an example of a project I directed that shows my Consultative Selling, Creativity, Tenacity, Financial Acumen, Relationship Building and Strategic Selling:Situation: University Medical Center (UMC) in Nevada released an RFP with six distinct sections and stated the sections of the RFP would be “awarded to two or more vendors”. Task: Conceptualize, design & present a network/services that was of a higher caliber than described in the RFP. Action: Applied my financial acumen by working with numerous departments/levels within Cox, including several VP’s who then had to confer with Cox’ President to receive the approvals needed to respond to the RFP with my concept. Justified an Addendum to the RFP permitting award to one vendor.Result: Cox was one of 3 finalists invited to provide an Oral Presentation and then UMC announced that they intended to award the entire Contract to Cox, which was the largest awarded to Cox that year, was completed under budget and ahead of schedule, plus has continued to exceed UMC’s requirements. -
