Responsible for re-working Aegis IT department from an outsourced service to internally staffed department.Redesigned server infrastructure implementing Virtual Server Technology to shrink Aegis Datacenter footprint while increasing performance and capabilities to Aegis end users. Designed and implemented a centrally managed Wi-Fi network across 28 locations for Washington and California.Initiated a redesign of Aegis’s telecommunication network adding capacity and redundancy to all locations while reducing cost by 25 percent.

Responsible for design, implementation, operation, maintenance and control of PTL’s Wide Area Network utilizing three Microsoft Windows NT servers and one SCO UNIX server and over 60 pc’s in five different offices running Microsoft Windows 95. Also manage all company telecommunications linking phone and data via T1 circuits. Responsibilities included all contract and price negotiating with computer and phone consultants. Manage all operational aspects of a large third party calibration laboratory, including billing, collections, marketing and budgeting. Consult on large design and engineering projects that included process controls and test equipment.
