Adding value to planning means anticipating tomorrow's challenges. This goal drives me personally and professionally. The challenges in the industry that excites me, the maritime economy, are many and varied:- constant change in global trade centres and commodity flows- structural change in ports away from the handling of fossil energies towards new resources and renewable feedstocks- defossilisation of the transport chain onshore and by sea- integration of new technologies to be more resource efficient and to cope with demographic changePorts and terminals are the connecting element in the transport and value chains. Only those who adopt this approach will find holistic solutions for the logistics system. With a clear mind, i address this in the projects to lift logistics and its value added to the next level of sustainability.
