Through the FedTech Incubator and National Security Innovation Network #DIA program, we worked with #DoD lab inventors, mentors, subject matter experts, and world-class instructors to assess the market viability and the potential to commercialize Department of Defense lab technologies. • Conducted market and customer validation for the start-up phase of business development by interviewing SMEs, war fighter users on the battlefield, potential investors, competitors, and public users for our technology.• Team meetings with the inventor, start-up team, and advisors through the process of determining if our technology could be commercialized in the public, private and government marketplace.• Eventually making the determination that our technology, in its current state, was not able to be commercialized in the market.Our focus was on the market and customer validation of our technology to determine the opportunity to successfully commercialize while building a partnership with the DoD technology owners.
