I inherited my passion for fruit from an early age. Not only fruit growing, but also the mechanisation and automatisation of agriculture to reduce manual labour is for me very interesting.The basic training I have obtained in electromechanics and agricultural mechanisation contribute to the technic applicable on the home farm. The bachelor's degree in agro and biotechnology with specialisation in fruit farming was a must for me to have all the right classes and certificates to run a farm. Additional certificates such as certified refrigeration technician also come in handy on a farm with ULO cells. This not only makes me aware of the techniques in the fruit-growing sector but also of the technical issues involved.After my bachelor's degree, I started as an independent helper on the home farm taking as many chances as possible to learn things. Since 2023, I have taken over my parents organic Qtee® orchard and started to study how nature and, more importantly, the soil works, which led me to regenerative agriculture and I try to apply as many things of this as possible in the orchard.So everyone can enjoy a great tasting product with care for nature.
