As an Instructor/Monitor/Mentor in the Tactical Skills Training Unit, I was responsible for training international Security Forces and Presidential Guard Forces in Close Quarters Battle/Operations, defensive tactics, weapon systems, and executive protection and supervising trainers in this area. This included tactical operational planning, urban assault/raid operations, close quarters battle, and counter insurgency in an urban and hostile environment. Additionally, I instructed Presidential Guard Forces in Advance Operations, Motorcade Operations, and Close Protection Operations. I have created curriculum, written lesson plans and correlating PowerPoint slides, as well as, the Master Requirements Lists for various blocks of instruction. I have conducted workshops with international instructors using a language assistant to deliver training. I have revised other instructors lesson plans and other documents as needed.In both the Security Forces and Presidential Guard programs the training quality is demonstrated through a series of inject-scenario based cumulative training events. I have primarily been tasked as an Observer Controller, but have also been tasked as the Exercise Coordinator and the Role Player Liaison Officer. I have written scenarios for the training events, as well as, taken on projects to collate documents to be used during the training events.

During my tenure at Morrow Police Department I was assigned to the Special Operations Unit until a separate Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS) Unit was established.
