Controlling spending and taxation is a never-ending mission. I work to prevent government encroachment and unnecessary regulation in our daily lives, and in the businesses we work in. Defending individual rights, and fostering policies that encourage self-reliance and accountability, are my guideposts.My work as an elected official allows me insight and influence on decisions and programs involving public health, budgeting and taxes, responsible land development, military veterans, the elderly and disabled, the judicial system, and a large public workforce. I consider it an honor and a privilege, and never forget whom I really serve.After living in Waukesha County for more than five decades, I have innumerable good memories of parents, coaches, teachers, friends, and wonderful experiences. I, along with so many of my neighbors, feel a duty to make my community a better place. I’m fortunate that they grant me the opportunity to do so via my passion for public service.
