As a Senior Staff Director, I was responsible for Human Resources (HR), Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Training and Facility Management in the Swedish management team. My daily operational tasks were primarily within HR and together with my great team we work hard to create A great place to Work for our 3000 coworkers within Circle K in Sweden.

I had the opportunity to become P/L responsible for the Circle K business in Sweden, which was challenging, engaging and a very fun experience. I learned a lot and we achieved some great results together.

My main responsibilities as a Retail director was to secure successful customer meetings, efficient operations and long-term results on our 140-franchise operated Circle K stations as well as handling contracts, recruitment and negotiations. I was a part of the Circle K Swedish management team and reported to CEO.

I was responsible for all sales training at our stores and HQ with a high focus on leadership training for Store managers and B2B sales reps.

I was a part of the team that developed and implemented the new Swedish business model for store contracts with a main responsibility for Fuel and operations.

In 2006 we started working with the Lean philosophy and we looked a lot at Toyota who was a benchmark at this point. We implemented 10 Lean-tools at stations like Labor model, JIT, 5 S etc. This turned into a roll-out to our whole network and became a European benchmark.

As IT Manager I was responsible for supporting the business model with efficient and creative IT solutions in a matrix organization including IT-support, Development and Roll-out.

My main responsibility was development and roll-out of a new POS system together with a great team of developers and store managers. We were also responsible for several IT applications and development of new business solutions.
