I have been working in gemstones trading the past 30 years. At the age of eight I was first introduced to gemstones, as my grandfather brought me a rock crystal from Felbertauern in Austria. This gesture sparked a great passion in me, for which became a hobby and developed into my career. Completing a doctorate in economics and working internationally (in Germany, Switzerland, the U.S. & India) for over 30 years with gemstones brought me to the idea of founding The Natural Gem - a company specializing in natural and untreated gemstones with its headquarters in Vienna, and a branch in Mumbai. Expansion of branches are planned for Zürich and Singapore.In year 2017, my bestseller "Investment in Gemstones" was published. The book goes into detail about gemstones and informs the reader what to be aware of when purchasing gemstones for investment purposes.
