After years of soaking up experience to understand the operational, financial, and executive team needs for Professional Services firms I was ready to take on full software implementations. My attention to detail, background in development, and deep knowledge of our software made me a perfect fit for taking on long, complex projects with custom integrations between CRM, Finance, HRIS, and PSA platforms. I achieved the fastest implementation time within a few months of starting with extremely high client satisfaction. I also regularly met with the professional services team to establish repeatable processes that allowed us to implement faster and with fewer errors.

With my promotion to a senior product specialist I took on the Herculean task of documenting how our software works. Nearly one thousand pages later the organization had an easy to navigate, clearly written, navigable set of technical documentation. The docs include not only what the software does, but the how and why of our implementation. The docs are now a key component not only for our clients, but for our support staff, onboarding team, and development team.As the senior product specialist I was in charge of managing our support desk, triaging tickets, escalating tickets, and was the first, second, and third line of defense when it came to customer satisfaction. My dogged determination to root out all problems was a key to our success. During my tenure we have been the independently rated, number one rated support in our industry.

As part of a small, four person team I took on many roles. I created the user interface, ran source control, ran demonstrations, and did the IT work for our small firm. Within a few years we were able to exit to one of the largest CAD platforms in the market.

Not content with just a day job, I taught myself to rock climb and then took on a second job as a climbing instructor focused on advanced techniques for elite climbers.

At my first job in the technology sector I quickly learned the power of software to automate away mundane tasks. Despite being a junior member of the QA team I spearheaded implementation of an automated testing suite. After obtaining executive buy in to roll out the platform to all developers we measurab improved software quality which reduced operational overhead for not only developers, but QA, technical writers, and the product team.

I was fortunate enough to be a founding member of a new writing program at the University of Rochester. The program's goal was to enhance the quality of writing by all students. I worked with an amazing team of educators and students to establish program goals, measures of success, create a writing lab, and educate incoming freshman, graduate students, ESL students, and many more. This had a profound impact on my communication skills, education skills, and organizational skills.
